Setting Email Forwarders in cPanel

Forwarders, the icon of which is shown below, lets you send a copy of all mail from one email to another.

An example is when you forward email1@mydomain.com to email2@mydomain.com, all emails that email1@mydomain.com will be forwarded and therefore also received by email2@ydomain.com

It’s a very useful feature that allows you to have multiple different email addresses managed from a single inbox or when you want an email sent to an address be forwarded to multiple different people or emails.

After clicking the Forwarders icon, it will list the forwarders you have already set, if you do not have any, as shown below, click on the “Add Forwarder” button to set one up.

The form below will then show up. Address to forward is the email address where all emails will be originally received and the destination email address is the email address which will be forwarded a copy of all messages received.

You can use any email here such as yahoo, gmail, hotmail, etc.

If you choose to click the “Add Domain Forwarder” button on the previous page, you will have an option to send a copy of all emails received from that domain’s email addresses to the email address of your choice.

For example, if your domain has three emails setup such as admin@mydomain.com, support@mydomain.com and feedback@mydomain.com, all emails received from these three emails would be forwarded.
