Protect Your Inbox with Spam Assassin in cPanel

Spam Assassin is one of the most popular anti-spam software that keeps your email inbox safe from spam and spammers alike. It is very widely used and highly regarded as one of the best free anti-spam software in the world.

Spam Assassin will help identify if an email you received is spam by making sure only people that you’ve verified or those who have verified themselves. Spam Assassin also allows you to create filters, making it even more effective to catch spam and letting legit emails to go through into your inbox.

By default, Spam Assassin is disabled, you can enable it by simply clicking on the enable link as shown below.

When Spam Assassin is enabled, you can set a filter where messages considered as spam will automatically be deleted.

Auto deletion of spam can also be disabled by clicking on the “Disable Auto-Delete Spam” as shown below.

If you have it set to not automatically delete spam messages, you can click the “Enable Spam Box” button shown below. All messages considered as spam will then go to this folder. The “Clear Spam Box” button on the right will delete all messages in the spam box folder.
